Plenty of financial services firms claim to be different from their peers, but most of them are the same basic carbon copy of the others. What separates Roberts Investment Group from the rest is that it is a firm which emphasizes Christian ethics and morals. The way the company is structured and the way the staff conduct themselves is expected to be in accordance with a high standard of ethics and morals. This is important in an industry where ethics is very often a dirty word.
The two Christian men who first came up with the idea for Roberts Investment Group believed that the industry needed a higher standard of ethics. Since they weren’t capable of changing that, they thought they would introduce that higher standard through a company. It was March of 2005 when this idea was first considered. Later on that year, Roberts Investment Group opened its doors for the first time.
Too often, financial services firms lose track of what it is that they are supposed to be doing—serving their clients’ finances. Financial services firms forget that it is their job to ensure that their clients make money through their investments. This might seem like a simple thing, but too often these firms only focus on their profits, not on those of their clients.
